10 Most Disappointing Horror Movies Of 2015 - Ranked

10. Demonic

Demonic is Dimension Films€™ attempt to jump on the supernatural bandwagon, and given that the same studio gave the world The Crow and Scream franchises, it seemed like a welcome idea. Even better, the directors linked to the project at various stages included James Wan (Insidious), Xavier Gens (Hitman) and Javier Gutierrez (Before The Fall). Disappointingly, the finished film is another yarn about stupid teenagers who seem to have been selected by a focus group €“ there€™s the jock, the hot girlfriend, the token Asian guy and the weird girl. They go to a haunted house, film themselves conducting a séance and you can probably guess the rest. Recovering the footage, a detective and a psychologist (who€™ve clearly never seen a horror film) try to piece together what happened. If you€™re as clueless as they are, you might enjoy the movie.
