3. The Final Battle - Kraven the Hunter

Even with Kraven the Hunter rocking the biggest budget of Sony's Spider-Man Universe, the $130 million superhero flick has some seriously ropey CGI, especially during its final battle.

In the third act, Kraven (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) battles Rhino (Alessandro Nivola) at his sanctuary, and while the design of Rhino's bestial final form isn't bad, the VFX look, well, not so hot.

As a result, Rhino ends up looking more like a goofy video game character than a part of this world, and on top of this, the ensuring fight is a blurry, garish mess of janky physics, obnoxious digital camera shake, and a seemingly never-ending stampede of naff-looking buffalo encircling Kraven and Rhino while they battle.

It adds up to a finale that feels very early 2000s which, at least, is consistent with most of the action in the other Sony Spider-Man Universe movies. For a film that cost so much, though, it's ludicrously dodgy.
