10 Most Emotional WWE Tributes

1. Eddie Guerrero

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E0F2Gu3GGqw Of all of the unfortunate losses from wrestling, there's none more regretful and untimely than the passing of Latino Heat. He was at the very apex of his long and arduous career, had only just climbed the very top of the championship mountain - he had so much more to do, so many more stories to tell, so many more victories to steal. After all of the personal problems he'd overcome, all of the inner demons he'd conquered, Guerrero passed away at his prime after an inspirational rehabilitation. Every moment of Eddie Guerrero's tribute episode of Raw felt truly genuine and incredibly emotional. From the opening 10-bell salute, many of his fellow superstars couldn't hold back the tears as they paid tribute to the man, showing how well loved he was in the locker room. The video tribute itself feels remarkably honest, the tear-jerking Hurt as performed by Johnny Cash highlights Guerrero's problems and struggles, while also commenting on the morbid trend of wrestling and the lives it often claims. In every clip Eddy is smiling and dancing, but the musical accompaniment, tone and atmosphere of the video package couldn't be more tragic if it tried. The WWE's tribute to Eddie Guerrero was emotional, genuine and hard to forget due to both the video package, the various tributes and the tragic nature of the situation itself. Rest in peace, Eddy.
