2. Cyrus Grissom (Con Air)

Whoever decided to put Nicolas Cage and Jon Malkovich together on a train and let them play off each other is a damn genius. (And tossing Steve Buscemi into the mix might actually make the casting agent a wizard.) Malkovich pulls off the pseudo-intellectual masochist with somewhat disturbing aplomb. Nobody should be able to look so comfortable in that kind of role. And is there a more ridiculous situation for a multiple felon to find himself in than the one pictured above? It wouldn't be a surprise to find out Malkovich agreed to the role just so he challenge himself to point a gun at a pink, stuffed bunny rabbit without cracking a smile.
