10 Most Evil Characters In MCU History

9. Green Goblin

There were two versions of Norman Osborn that travelled the multiverse to Earth-616 when Peter Parker and Stephen Strange screwed up a dangerous spell. There was the homeless, scared, and confused Norman, and the sinister alter-ego, the Green Goblin.

Of all five villains that returned to screens in Spider-Man: No Way Home, it was the Green Goblin that acted as the main antagonist. Aside from the fact that Doc Ock was cured, and if we’re being brutally honest Lizard, Sandman, and Electro were pointless, Osborn was the natural choice to face off against Spider-Man.

The unwelcome persona of the man overtook Norman’s mind and completely changed him. He was evil incarnate, something that comic book fans knew from the very beginning, but his interaction and fight with Peter at Happy’s apartment only proved this more than ever before.

It was the Green Goblin that killed Peter’s Aunt May, and not only did he pin the guilt and the blame on Peter himself, he laughed that vile laugh about it. Plenty of villains have killed in the MCU, but to actively enjoy it? That’s evil.
