In Never Let Go, a mother finds herself and her sons tormented by a wicked spirit for years. When one of her children questions the existence of the demonic force, the trust in the family begins to collapse, causing things to go south very quickly.
Apart from that concise summary, the filmmakers behind Never Let Go have given very little away. As of now, there's no trailer or promotional photos. Heck, there's not even a release date.
However, horror fans should be confident in the project since it's overseen by Alexandra Aja. He may not be a household name but the French auteur has proven to be one of the most consistent horror directors out there. Over the last 20 years, Aja's released many solid flicks, including High Tension, The Hills Have Eyes, Horns, Mirrors, Crawl, and Oxygen. (Piranha 3D is his only real dud.) Throughout his tenure, the Frenchman has proven capable of dealing with virtually any form of horror, including monsters, sci-fi, paranormal, psychological, and slasher.
Though most details surrounding Never Let Go remain unknown, things are looking up based on Aja's track record.
