Not only is she an accomplished playwright and actress of the stage & scree, she wrote the film Ruby Sparks, still in cinemas, as a starring vehicle for herself. Generally people seem to love it, and it contains an intriguing premise. So, we have a real renaissance woman. Kazan is likely to gain more widespread future acclaim than Polley because her subject matter is more generally accessible, so considering she's not even 30 yet, she's not doing too badly at all.
