Another Earth and Sound of My Voice are both written, produced and starring the rather lovely Ms. Marling, who some of you may know for her appearance as Paige the non-lesbian in Community season 2. You can currently see her in Arbitrage, and her stocks as an actress look set to soar very quickly, which can only mean we're more likely to see her self-penned output on a regular basis. Like many of the women on this list, she is not particularly well-known to the mass public yet, but it won't be long.
