10 Most Gruesome Zombie Movie Deaths

9. David - Shawn Of The Dead

Shaun of the Dead Death
Universal

Day of the Dead's Henry Rhodes got his nod in 2004's British romzomcom, Shaun of the Dead. As the survivors - led by Simon Pegg's Shaun - hole up in a good, old-fashioned British pub for safety, the bitter David (Dylan Moran) bitches and moans the whole time. Tensions come to a head when Shaun's mother reveals a zombie bite of her own. As Shaun and David fight over what to do, David pulls a gun on his rival. A punch and an apology later and... David is dragged backwards through the window,

Falling into the arms of the zombie horde, David is disemboweled, to the horror of the group and girlfriend Dianne (Lucy Davis) - who attempts to fend off the creatures with David's lopped-off leg. Shaun of the Dead may be one of Britain's best comedy movies of all time, but that doesn't stop it from going dark when it needs to. Romero would be (and was!) proud.
