10 Most Hated Characters In MCU History

7. Peter Quill

For the first two Guardians of the Galaxy movies, Peter Quill proved himself to be one of the most fun and popular characters in the MCU. He was a great leader of his team, while also being a goofball with an obsession for Kevin Bacon and Heather Locklear.

There wasn't much to dislike about the loveable outlaw to begin with, but then Infinity War happened. Along with Drax and Mantis, the Guardian teamed up with Iron Man, Spider-Man, and Doctor Strange to fight Thanos on Titan.

They had only one objective - get the gauntlet out of the Mad Titan's hand. Thanks to Mantis' power of putting him to sleep, Drax and Strange pinning his arms back, and Tony and Peter pulling the thing free, they were almost successful. Almost.

Peter decided that this was the perfect time to question Thanos about the whereabouts of Gamora, and his enemy unconsciously told him that she was dead.

Quill's reaction was to attack Thanos, punching him in the face and waking him up just as the gauntlet was about to leave his hand. This isn't that surprising, since he just found out the love of his life was dead, but fans have never forgiven him for being the reason Thanos won on Titan, and was able to go on and win in Wakanda.
