10 Most Hated Star Wars Characters

Though the first time you hear Kowakian monkey-lizard Salacious B. Crumb laugh it's actually pretty funny, his one-note shenanigans throughout Return of the Jedi quickly wear themselves thin.

There are certainly more vocally hated characters in Star Wars, but perhaps none who are so immediately nails-on-a-chalkboard annoying.

If Return of the Jedi is often criticised for making an excessive attempt to be light-hearted and appeal to the kiddies, Crumb runs second only to the Ewoks in transparently ramping up the daft hijinks.

Between his ear-splitting laugh and incessant mugging, there's little wit to his character and even less to like. Hell, Darth Vader even threatened to murder him if he didn't shut up in the 2015 comic Star Wars #4.

Someone needs to re-dub his entire role with the Seth Rogen laugh already.

Fun, weird fact: Crumb is Anthony Daniels' favourite character in the series. Lord have mercy.
