7. Denise Richards - Dr. Christmas Jones (The World Is Not Enough)

Whereas most Bond girls only really ever need to look good taking their clothes off and saying things like, "Oh, James, you are so handsome, please make love to me in this location," Denise Richards got the short end of the stick: they made the awful choice to cast her as a super hot but ridiculously intelligent nuclear scientist. Does such a thing exist? I'd like to find out. That said, Richards' character, Dr. Christmas Jones, is saying intelligent things all the way through
Tomorrow Never Dies - it's just near impossible to believe them coming from a woman of such... uh, "complexion" At least she looks good, though, right? Well, kind of. The fact that she's in so much of the movie is really distracting: the producers really should have opted for somebody who looked less like a supermodel and hired somebody with a quiet intelligence, as to have us believe this character would have spent decades learning about nuclear reactors and fusion generators. As it stands, Denise feels totally out of place for all of her screentime. And to be fair, Richard isn't particularly, uh, "well-brained" in real life, which doesn't help matters when you're so desperately trying to suspend your disbelief.
