Watership-Down-1978Watership Down is the movie that will have likely traumatised you the most if you happened to have had it at home growing up - it's also the movie that will turn you into a rabbit-defender for life: don't you see they've got their own language and society and families?! Strictly speaking, this wasn't made as a children's movie, but given that it's about rabbits, it's animated and it was given a universal rating upon its release, children we going to see it. And besides, Richard Adams wrote the original novel as a story for his own kids to read, okay? Man, I wonder what those kids are like now. Yes, there are too many horrific and disturbing moments scattered throughout Watership Down to pick just one, and I'm including Art Garfunkel's "Bright Eyes." Just kidding, Art. Anyway, if you plan on having a child one day and you want it to grow up sad and probably as a vegan, show this move to them a few times during adolescence.
