5. Wasp

Much to her own chagrin, Wasp was not involved in Captain America: Civil War despite Ant-Man’s presence, so has only featured in the two Ant-Man movies in the MCU so far. Still, in that short space of time she’s done enough to establish herself as one of the MCU’s most improved.

The Endgame trailer has already shown that Ant-Man will play a significant role, and after Ant-Man & The Wasp’s post-credits scene, she’s very much in the mix too, so she might get even better.

Evangeline Lilly had already impressed audiences with turns in Lost and The Hobbit, but in the first Ant-Man she was a little one note. Irritable, cold and bitter, she served a role in the plot but hardly endeared herself to many.

In the sequel though, we saw a much more fulfilled Wasp as she stepped up to the plate as the leading Super. This gave her a much stronger dynamic with Scott, and just made her a warmer person in general. It was an arc that was necessary, but most fans are glad we get to see the real Wasp instead of the whiny one.
