5. David O Russell vs George Clooney
Look at that face. He is such a charmer, isn't he? Like a modern day Cary Grant. So charming in fact that Director David O Russell head-butted him on the set of his debut feature Three Kings. A fist-fight of school boy proportions apparently broke out on the set of the Gulf war flick, after Russell supposedly took the pressure and strain of working on a feature film out on the crew that surrounded him. Ever the nice guy, Clooney stuck up for the little men, only to receive a Glasgow Kiss from the director. The pair then scuffled on the ground choking each other in a pure rage that only ended when they were separated by crew members. How the pair managed to make a film together after that is a testament to the patience of both.
Who Won? There are no losers here; both have carved out excellent careers despite the confrontation. With a few hiccups along the way, they have quietly gone about their business for years now, with only articles like this one raking up old graves. Rather than who won, lets put it this way; who was in the wrong? That question may just be answered by the next contestants...
