100 Most Inspirational Films of All Time, It's A Wonderful Life would most likely be in the majority of peoples top 10's. The principal message here is so simple, and one that every single person needs to learn at some point in their life; that message being that every life has value and that we all have the potential to impact the lives of so many others. The film shows us that it's not important how much we earn, how famous we are or what we look like, it's who we are on the inside and our actions that define us. In my opinion showing of this film in schools should be obligatory, with so many of our generation so obsessed with celebrity culture and everything that that entails. This simply beautiful scene from the end of the film is another of those that really takes the heartstrings and gives them a damn good yank. From the moment of George's self realisation right through to the touching rendition of 'Auld Lang Syne' this finale is nothing but an inspiration to all. It's Hollywood at its cheesiest but damn is it effective, and for the record, oh so true. So there we have it, my top 10 most inspirational film scenes of all time. This article was quite a diversion from my usual cynical attitude and in order to restore balance to the universe I think I need to go and shout at some puppies for a while!
