10 Most Insufferable Johnny Depp Performances

10. The Big Bad Wolf - Into The Woods

This wasn't a major role for Depp or anything, and it could even be described as a cameo of sorts (had he remained uncredited or something), but it still manages to be entirely insufferable despite its brevity. That's to say, Johnny Depp plays "The Big Bad Wolf" in recent Disney musical Into The Woods, because OF COURSE HE DOES. Who else would they have got in to play the part, after all? It would have been madness to suggest another actor play a character that is both "in heavy make-up" and "bohemian." And presumably all Disney had to say for Depp to agree to swing by for a few days filming was: "You'll be dressing up as a wolf in a quirky costume. You in?" So, yeah, Depp's not in the movie a whole lot, but the annoying factor that goes hand in hand with the the fact that such an obvious Johnny Depp role went to Johnny Depp is inherently irksome. Just once it would have been nice if he'd have turned it down and surprised everyone. Nope: he's right here doing his usual schtick in all the ways we've seen it done before. Give someone else a go, Johnny.
