10. Hawkeye Bow Equipping In The Avengers
The Moment: Preparing for battle, the mighty Avengers begin to assemble. Thor grabs his hammer, Hulk turns green, Iron Man becomes all Iron Man like and the incredibly powerful Hawkeye flips his bow open in a failed attempt to look cool.
The Stupidity: Really Mr. Whedon? Youre going to make a legitimate attempt to make a glorified kid's entertainer as impactfully cool as Thor, Hulk and Iron Man? Rather than let his skills do the talking, every time he appears on screen its in a melodramatic hoo-ha of attempted bad assery that comes across as more of a superhero parody than a legitimate and engaging introduction. The worst part of this? The bow whipping moment where he unfurls his bow in an intense kick to the funny bone as you try not to cry at how ridiculous a short white guy trying to look like a superhero comes across as.
