8. Renard - The World Is Not Enough
People hate The World is Not Enough way too much. The response is not completely without reason, but the justifications are just blown out of proportion. This rather well done Bond entry would almost be on the same caliber as Goldeneye if (and it's a strong if) they had cut some of the horrible lines of dialogue out of the script and had changed the name of that nuclear physicist character. Every line with her revolves around that name, Christmas Jones, and it's just... awful. The same goes for lines like "Welcome to my nuclear family," spoken by the terrorist Renard as he sets the reactor in a nuclear sub to explode. The way he dies is having a plutonium rod shot out of the reactor back into his stomach, impaling him as Bond escapes, saving Christmas before they drown. There, now that I've mentioned every terrible thing about this movie try watching the rest of it again. You might be surprised how good it is actually.
