10 Most Memorable Movie New Year's Eves

10. Trading Places (1983)

NYE - Trading Places Trading Places tells us the story of upper class Louis (Dan Aykroyd) and homeless Billy Ray (Eddie Murphy) whose lives are thrown into disarray when the extraordinarily rich Duke brothers (Ralph Bellamy and Don Ameche) force the unwitting Louis and Billy Ray to switch lives. When they discover the Duke brothers' unforgivable manipulation, Louis and Billy Ray set out to exact their revenge by bankrupting the Dukes. With the aid of prostitute Opehlia (Jamie Lee Curtis), they cause the Dukes to invest heavily in orange juice futures based on information from a falsified crop report. Most Memorable NYE Scene No, the most memorable moment is not a topless Jamie Lee Curtis. That didn't happen on New Year's Eve. The most memorable scene is the NYE party on the train to Philadelphia. I lived in mainland Europe for two years and took international trains all over the continent. Using that experience as a guide, I can see how a costume party on a train would be one of those memories that stays with you a while. Of course, I wouldn't want to be the guy in the gorilla suit.
