9. The Godfather: Part II (1974)
I won't bother trying to review this film. It's one of the most reviewed films of all time, and most of the folks who've reviewed it are just possibly a little better at it than I am (although that's arguable, just ask my wife). Let's just say that The Godfather: Part II encompasses the early life and career of Vito Corleone in 1920's New York. His son, Michael (Al Pacino) is also shown as he rises to power within the mob during the 1950's. Michael's brother, Fredo, is a constant source of paranoid rivalry and ultimately must be eliminated if Michael is to continue his hold on power. Most Memorable NYE Scene Michael Corleones infamous kiss of death for his older brother Fredo is easily the most memorable scene in the film. If you're ever in the mob and your brother kisses you on the lips on NYE, run for the hills!
