10 Most Memorable Original Film Characters

7. The Bride (Uma Thurman in Kill Bill Part)

The Bride is probably one of the most enduring female characters ever created for the screen. There are many memorable female characters (unfortunately, not enough). But only The Bride in her yellow jumpsuit (which is inspired by a Bruce Lee movie, but still, it doesn€™t eliminate the character, just her appearance!) is quite literally the most kick-ass of them all. Princess Leia defeated an Empire, but The Bride defeated Bill and his army of mask-wearing, weapons-wielding, star-throwing ninjas, femmes fatales and accomplished warriors. And since she was able to make sense of Bill€™s memorable Clark Kent / Superman dialogue, and throw out a few memorable one-liners herself, it does give her a very good place on this list. Runner-up: All of Bruce Lee€™s characters, as they originated on the screen, and were more memorable than any other male Kung-Fu heroes.
