5. Yelena Hates Superhero Poses

For years, MCU fans have made light of the ever-popular superhero pose, where an Avenger will typically land on the scene in an implausibly dramatic, triumphant pose for no other reason than it looking so very, very cool.

This was finally mocked in an MCU movie itself in Black Widow, when Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh) hilariously asks Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) why she gets into a fighting pose in the middle of combat, flicking her hair back in a way that, in Yelena's words, makes her a "total poser."

Nat of course denies being a poser, but Yelena insists that while the poses look great, it makes her look like she thinks people are watching her all of the time. Which, this being a movie of course, is totally true.

This gets paid off again twice later in the movie: first when Nat indeed executes a superhero landing and gets called "such a poser" by Yelena, and then when Yelena inadvertently nails a superhero pose herself and shudders in disbelief, before hilariously calling her act "disgusting."
