4. Carrie Fisher's Coke Nail

The late, great Carrie Fisher didn't shy away from talking about her history of drug use, and the Princess Leia Organa star even noted many years ago that she actually did cocaine on the set of The Empire Strikes Back (via The Guardian).

That brings us to the urban legend of Fisher's apparent "coke nail" being visible at points during the original trilogy, with some folks opting to grow one of their nails longer as a way of scooping the drug for a quick fix.

However, Fisher herself would ultimately debunk this particular tale on Twitter/X in 2012, telling her followers, "I never used my fingernail for drugs. I used dollars or tiny spoons like any other respectable former drug addict."

Again, Fisher had already openly admitted to taking the drug on set and talked about her addiction struggles over the years, so it's safe to assume she probably wouldn't feel the need to lie about this infamous "coke nail" urban legend.

You heard the Princess. This one was false, folks.
