When John Belushi tells you you€™'re doing too much cocaine, it really should serve as a wake-up call.

That'€™s what the comedian and actor said to Carrie Fisher when the two shared screen time in The Blues Brothers in 1980. Belushi was notorious for consuming industrial quantities of coke and just about anything else he could get his hands on, so it came as no surprise when it was confirmed that his extremely premature death two years later was the result of a drug overdose.

Fisher has been admirably candid about her drug use, speaking at length about her problems with addiction that led to an overdose at one point and admitting to having taken drugs on the set of The Empire Strikes Back (insert Hoth joke here).

However, the urban legend that her €˜coke nail€™, i.e. a fingernail kept specially long for quick fixes, is on display in the Star Wars films has been debunked by Princess Leia herself, with Fisher tweeting the following a couple of years ago:

€œI never used my fingernail for drugs. I used dollars or tiny spoons like any other respectable former drug addict.€

In light of her detailed confessions regarding her past, there€™'s no reason not to take the actress at her word.
