Whether it proves everyone wrong by being a hit critically and commercially remains to be seen, but it's a safe bet to say it will based on past experience. Edgar Wright may no longer be in the director's chair (he's been replaced by Yes Man's Peyton Reed), but his script remains, albeit with a pretty significant sounding overhaul from star Paul Rudd and Anchorman scribe Adam McKay. That alone sounds promising, and when you throw in the fact that the cast also includes Michael Douglas, Evangeline Lilly, and Corey Stoll, there's no reason to think Marvel don't have yet another hit on their hands. Despite the fact that Ant-Man doesn't have the same level of hype around it as Avengers: Age Of Ultron, it is still an important film (it's the final movie in Marvel's Phase 2) and there have been a lot of rumours surrounding it. These range from the behind the scenes feud between Marvel and Wright to the more conventional twists and turns that this unique take on Ant-Man will feature. Here, you will find ten of the most outlandish Ant-Man rumours that have been doing the rounds over the past year or so. If these are right (and some of them certainly sound plausible), they could wind up changing the Marvel Cinematic Universe forever.
