10. Hank Pym Killed His Wife
Well, sort of! Based on comments from cast members and a few different reports, it's believed that Janet Van Dyne (the original Wasp in the comic books who was also a founding member of The Avengers) died years before the events of Ant-Man. Whether this happened during some sort of crime fighting adventure with her husband or as a result of one of his experiments isn't clear, but her death is apparently a result of Hank Pym's actions. Some more outlandish and less reliable sources have claimed that Janet isn't dead, and that she is in fact trapped inside the Micro-Verse from the comic books. That's certainly feasible in some ways, but not likely, especially when Evangeline Lilly's Hope Van Dyne - Hank and Janet's daughter - is seemingly being positioned to take over the mantle of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Wasp. Don't expect to see much of the original version.
