8. Thanos Won't Be The Only Villain
While Thanos is the obvious choice of villain for Avengers: Infinity War, he won't be the only one causing problems for Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Joss Whedon actually confirmed this rumour while promoting Avengers: Age Of Ultron, but the identity of who else the team might end up facing off with is unknown. There are some rumoured candidates though. One of them is the Red Skull, an odd choice of partner for Thanos, but a villain who at least makes some sense after being sucked into the Tesseract (or a portal to another dimension created by it) in Captain America: The First Avenger. Ultron's role in the cosmic set Anniilation comics have also led to some rumblings that he might be brought back as well.
