In Thor, the Infinity Gauntlet could be seen sitting in Odin's vault. It was a pretty huge Easter Egg, but one of those things most fans didn't expect to see referenced again further down the line. However, with Thanos donning an Infinity Gauntlet at the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron, one journalist asked Kevin Feige if there was any connection between them. His answer was a surprise to say the least. Apparently, two Gauntlets do indeed exist in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and that revelation has resulted in rumours about what that entails. The main claim points to The Avengers using the Gauntlet against Thanos and there being some sort of race between them and the Mad Titan to collect all of the Stones first.
