9. The Movie's Villains
The Suicide Squad themselves are obviously villains, but they're going to need someone to fight (and as they're employed by the government, that can't be a superhero). That will apparently be obscure DC Comics character Antiphon and his terrorist cell known as Onslaught. Described as a special ops team made up of mercenaries, they're obviously a big enough threat for the government to put together a team like the Suicide Squad. Antiphon is a burn victim with a prosthetic leg, and it's been said that he too is hunting superheroes and villains for his own mysterious reasons. As A.R.G.U.S. are seemingly doing the same, you have to wonder if that has something to do with their motivation to assemble the Squad. Either way, it appears as if Warner Bros. and David Ayer are looking to make this character a formidable foe as Ed Harris has been rumoured to take on the role.
