5. "Let's Get Outta Here..."
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=taZwviU0sy0 Easily one of the most overused lines in action/thriller cinema, a character will glibly shout "Let's get outta here/we gotta get outta here!" when the proverbial hits the fan. It's usually to escape an explosion or enemy, but it can also be used in a sexual context, when a character wants to signal to another that they're ready to take them home. Going by the above montage, few lines can contend with it, and though it does sound far more natural than most of the stylised lines in this list, it's still probably not something you'd say in a real-life escape situation. In reality, wouldn't you just run without making that declaration if things were desperate enough, grabbing your mate to ensure he understands that you have to leg it? Plus, the "let's" sounds far too casual in a tense situation. The only time I can allow it to pass muster these days is if someone beefs it up with colourful language - "Let's get the f*** out of here!", for instance.
