10 Most Paused Harry Potter Moments

When it comes to the backstory of the wizarding world, Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs are hard to top. These four students were more than a gang of miscreants – they were Animagi who roamed around the castle and created the Marauder’s Map.

In the book, there’s a whole chapter dedicated to their misbehaviour. We get to witness Snape’s humiliation and lots of wicked dialogue when Harry dives into the Pensieve.

But it’s a different story in the movie – we only get to see the Marauders for a few seconds! There’s a brief flashback when Harry penetrates Snape’s memories, and that’s it. Given the brevity of this scene, avid Potter fans are forced to pause the action to get a better look at this notorious gang of friends.

Yet there’s only so much we can do. Even with the help of the pause button, it’s still hard to see Sirius, Remus, and Peter in any detail – James is the main focus of the scene.
