9. Is Honey Rider Naked? - Dr. No
In Dr. No, the titular villain learns Bond's investigation may compromise his plan for world domination and so, has him and his love interest, Honey Rider, captured. After being brought to No's nuclear facility, a group of scientists have the pair washed down in the decontamination room.
As Ursula Andress' character exits the area, a scientist hands her a dressing gown to wear. Although Ryder and Bond are meant to be naked, you would naturally assume the actors were wearing some clothing. But when the Swiss actress exits the area, she appears to be completely starkers.
Because this moment is so quick, viewers couldn't say for certain. When Dr. No was released on VHS, many people thought they could solve the mystery by freeze-framing. Though due to that tech, when you pause on a VHS cassette, it causes the frame to become blurred and staticky, making it impossible to tell for certain.
Only when the film was released on crisp-clear DVD did viewers finally learned the truth. If you look closely, you can see Andress is wearing a one-piece flesh-colour bathing suit in this shot.
