8. THAT Shot Of Daniel Craig - Casino Royale

When Daniel Craig was announced as the sixth incarnation of James Bond, he received an overwhelming amount of scepticism. Since he was blonde, thousands of people thought that was a totally acceptable reason why the British actor couldn't portray Bond in the reboot, Casino Royale.

Thankfully, these baseless criticisms were put to rest when the trailer was released. After viewers saw the iconic shot of 007 rising out of the water with his chiselled body on full display, the jokes of "James Blond" immediately stopped.

Although Craig is phenomenal in the film, it was this single frame that sold many people on the Cheshire-born actor in the role. (Ironically, the cameramen barely got the shot since most of the crew were out of range, trying to stop the paparazzi from taking pictures.)

One would naturally assume this moment was an intentional nod to Ursula Andress' legendary ascent from the sea in Bond's debut film, Dr. No. But according to the lead star, the iconic shot was an accident. As Craig was walking forward, he stepped on a sand hump, causing him to rise up, giving us the most famous shot in the movie.

Thank you, random sand hump.
