If James Gunn's The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker series are anything to go by, DC fans are in for one hell of a ride in the coming years.

And while the star of the show when it comes to both those offerings finds himself at the centre of more than a few pause-worthy beats over the course of both jaw-dropping and often raunchy entries - looking at you Tighty-Whities - easily the most frozen sequence involving John Cena's loud-mouth violent vigilante (so far) took place in the closing stages of Season One's second episode.

After initially taking a woman called Amber and her husband hostage in his bid to evade the police, Peacemaker seemingly hits it off with his new acquaintance, with the two bonding over rock band Cinderalla.

As it goes, Chris Smith and Amber would actually further, erm, connect before the end of Best Friends, For Never, with it being revealed that the pair got high before getting it on... with a still-masked Vigilante seemingly being along for the ride, too.

And in a pause that truly keeps on giving, this visual of the former WWE Champion lying half naked with a spliff in hand, alongside a clearly fed up wife and his odd pal, gets more hilarious and surreal the longer you look at it.
