So the message that appeared on Nick Fury's tombstone - "The path of the righteous man..." - at the end of Captain America: The Winter Soldier was a knowing little nod to Samuel L. Jackson's character, Jules Winnfield, in Quentin Tarantino's '90s classic, Pulp Fiction, whose famous speech consisted of those words (and a few more, actually).
