3. The Captain's List - Captain America: The Winter Soldier

One of the best things about The Winter Soldier is that it tells the story of a man out of time. With humour and a whole lot of self-awareness, the film sets out to ask the question... what happens when somebody is taken from their own time, and placed in another? So there are plenty of hilarious gags scattered through the likes of The Winter Soldier that address Steve Rogers' particular situation - one of which has the character writing a list of things he needs to catch up on with regards to seventy years of popular culture, like The Beatles and Nirvana, the Moon Landing, Star Wars and the Rocky movies.

This list is briefly glimpsed in the film, so movie-goers couldn't get a proper look until the DVD allowed them to pause and pursue it at their leisure. Best of all, the list was changed depending on the region - there's an entirely different list for eleven individual countries, including the US, the UK, Spain, Russia, Australia, Italy and South Korea. Don't fret: the South Korean list contains "Oldboy" as an entry.
