8. The S.H.I.E.L.D. Hotspots Map - Iron Man 2

Given that Iron Man 2 essentially served as "Marvel Cinematic Universe: The Movie" (the one time Marvel Studios got a little ahead of themselves and tried to pack too much into a single flick), this cheeky little inclusion makes perfect sense. That's to say, during the scene when Tony Stark and Nick Fury discuss S.H.I.E.L.D., it's possible to glimpse a map of the Earth in the background, upon which several areas have been targeted - presumably areas of interest for the secret government organisation?

So there's a hotspot in Africa to denote Black Panther (which is actually happening now), and another denoting the location of Prince Namor (AKA Sub-Mariner) in the Antarctic (not happening now, but who knows?), amongst others. In the movie this map whizzes by in a flash; blink and it's gone. Thankfully the DVD release made it possible to look closer.
