Total Downloads: 41.6 million One of the most heavily-anticipated sequels in recent memory, Avengers: Age of Ultron made some decent bank at the box office, while still most likely being considered a failure by Marvel Studios due to a shortfall of $120 million dollars between it and its predecessor. Which is insane, because $1.4 billion in box office takings does not sound like a failure - but so long as it failed to make more money than the first instalment, studio suits are going to be disappointed. The missing $120 million comes from audience members who apparently saw The Avengers, decided it wasn't for them and neglected to show up for the sequel. Arguably, it's possible that some of those same viewers are responsible for the amount of times Age of Ultron was downloaded; interested parties whose interest stops shy of actually plonking down money for the film. Either way, a hotly-anticipated film such as this will always earn the interest of pirates.
