Is The Hunger Games one of the most surprisingly (and justifiably) successful franchises in recent memory? It doesn't have the historical clout of Star Wars, LOTR, Marvel etc., yet it is still adored by an unbelievable number of people. That adoration seems to have developed both legally and illegally.
