Death has, thus far, been a relative term in the MCU; Agent Coulson, Nick Fury, and Bucky Barnes have all passed on, only to find a new lease of life a short time later. If theres one thing Marvels films have been criticised for its the lack of tension; we know Iron Man, Captain America and Thor will be fine since they need to front solo movies down the line. Thats allegedly set to change with Civil War, and seeing the MCU deal with the fallout of a major death is going to be very interesting. Of course the main question people are asking is Who? Captain America caught a bullet in the Civil War comic, but with Chris Evans signed on for a couple more movies his permanent demise is unlikely. It's the same thing with Iron Man and thought it feels like Downey, Jr. will hand over the suit sometime soon that probably wont be until the end of Infinity Wars. Which narrows the list down to characters like Black Widow, The Vision, Hawkeye and War Machine, and while the trailers suggest a bleak ending for Rhodey, it feels Black Widows demise might have the most impact on the team overall. Time will tell, but whoever they choose the impact promises to be immense. What major events do you think will occur in Phase 3?
