6. Mace Windu
As far as Jedi go, Mace Windu was basically one bad motherf**ker. Played by Samuel L. Jackson, and wielding that extremely memorable purple lightsaber, Windu is one of the most skilled and powerful Jedi when it comes to combat. He was so strong that he could use the Dark Side to aid him without ever actually succumbing to it, and even invented his own fighting style for this (Vaapad). He's not just fantastically strong, but also an extremely wise Jedi, second behind only Yoda in the Jedi ranks. Nowhere was his power more evident than in his duel with Darth Sidious, whom he had actually defeated before Anakin arrived on the scene and messed everything up, allowing his soon-to-be master to throw Windu out of the window.
