10 Most Rewatchable Movies Of 2014

9. 22 Jump Street

There are two reasons why comedy sequel 22 Jump Street stands as one of the most rewatchable movies of 2014. Firstly, it's packed with so many jokes, gags and meta-references that it's near-on impossible to catch them all in a single viewing. Secondly, it's downright hilarious. 22 Jump Street had all the makings of a bonafide failure - after the success of the first (albeit great but very unnecessary) first movie, where was the sense in going back for seconds? Hadn't the filmmakers pushed their luck already with said concept? Absolutely... and that was the point. Instead of repeating the things that made the first movie great and hoping the audience didn't notice, 22 Jump Street embraced its existence as an "awful, arbitrary sequel" and turned audience expectations on their head. In short, 22 Jump Street paid homage to the notion of the "bad sequel" and - in turn - ended up as one of the freshest comedies of 2014. It makes absolutely no sense, but then again, neither does Hollywood. Also: there's no way you won't want to go back to rewatch the insane credit reel that spoofs the possibility of endless Jump Street sequels. "27 Jump Street: Culinary School," anyone?
