What's It About? A possessed bed that eats people every 10 years or so. Sorry, there's really not much more to it than that. Does It Live Up To The Name? It does, if for no other reason than the surprising amount of mileage the filmmakers get out of a killer bed. In the entire "killer noun" horror sub-genre, Death Bed stands out for being the only movie that found it necessary to clarify that a Death Bed is, in fact, a bed that eats. Beyond that, this is a wonderfully stupid film highlighted by a scene where our hero has his hands turned into Haloween prop skeleton hands by Death Bed and never once seems bothered by it. This movie also inspired a particularly famous Patton Oswald sketch and the comedian's desire to produce a film by the title of Rape Stove: The Stove That Rapes People.
