4. The Killer Robots And The Battle For The Cosmic Potato
What's It About? A band of robotic mercenaries on the hunt for the all-powerful Cosmic Potato of Power. There's also something about aliens. None of it really has what you might call "story structure." Does It Live Up To The Name? While there is definitely no false advertising here, the sad answer is no. This is one of those modern day low budget movies designed to imitate the look and feel of low budget classics. The problem there is that those movies often had no idea how bad they truly were and this movie is way too self-aware of how bad it is. Killer Robots spends so much time trying to produce awful content that it forgets to make any of it entertaining. Although you have to give respect to the filmmakers for finding a way to build a plot around a cosmic potato, sadly this is a painfully dull little movie.
