The only difference is that this is just the actions of a single fan, rather than a concerted effort from the fanbase as a whole.

The Infinity Gauntlet is one of the most iconic images of Infinity War and Endgame, with several fans getting tattoos, t-shirts or even wearing plastic replicas to screenings. At the premiere, both Brie Larson and Scarlett Johansson turned up with rings and bracelets mimicking the design of the Gauntlet and its Stones.

One fan though has taken this to extremes. Instagram user @UnnecessaryInventions lived up to his name, designing an Infinity Saucelet for McDonald’s sauces. Rather than Infinity Stones, his glove is kitted out with six famous McNugget sauces.

Spicy Buffalo for the Soul Stone, Tangy BBQ for Space, Sweet and Sour for Time, the Mind Stone is Hot Mustard, Signature Sauce for Power Stone, while Ranch completes the set as the Reality Stone.

It might not help you obliterate half of the universe, but it’ll definitely make light work of a box of 20 McNuggets.
