Little Shop of Horrors is not only an underrated horror movie, but simply one of the most underrated movies of all time. It's a hilarious, heart-warming, and mental movie about an alien plant that becomes an attraction for a local Brooklyn flower shop.

The plant reveals that it requires blood to grow, and gets its first victim in the form of the insane dentist, played by Steve Martin. If it weren't weird enough seeing the sentient plant eat a man, it's certainly helped by him singing with joy afterwards.

As the plant grows in size, so does its appetite and our protagonist (Seymour) is reduced to murdering folks and feeding them to Audrey II. Eventually, Seymour opts for the moral high road but, by that point, Audrey II is big and sentient enough that it can eat anyone it likes and... take over the world. Yep, that's what happens in the original ending.
