7. Darth Maul
This horny looking fella is a Dark Lord of The Sith, the one and only Darth Maul. His one and only appearance came in the much derided film Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace. Although not in it for long the effect and lasting memory of Darth Maul is probably the best part of this film. Can you remember the day when you first saw the trailer and saw that this guy had a double ended lightsaber? I for one picked my jaw off the floor. Darth Maul is a Dathomiri Nightbrother born on Iridonia and known as Maul. Darth Maul met his fate at the hands of the young Obi Wan Kenobi in The Phantom Menace getting severed in half and falling down a viaduct.
Why ridiculous? Looking like the devils younger brother, Darth Maul, although briefly seen on screen, made a huge impact on the Star Wars universe, although, practically mute. He looks ridiculous in my eyes because at the time I was 18, when TPM came out, I was scared of this guy so I cant imagine what a young Star Wars fan of 7 or 8 would make of this strikingly looking guy. I am sure a few nightmares were had after seeing it!
