3. Darth Vader, Back From the Dead, in Episode VII
If a Jar Jar movie isn't bad enough (then what is) Disney has also hinted at resurrecting Darth Vader in Episode VII. The rumor got started by the Daily Express stating they have an inside source or "mole" who leaked the quote, "He's an integral part of the franchise. Replacing him is virtually impossible. The plan is for him to return and play a significant role in the new films." The UK's Daily Express goes on to report that in Michael Arndt's script, Vader "will rise from the ashes." Rise from the ashes of what? A completely blown to bits Death Star? Or out of the funeral pyre Luke lays his armor on? Of course Vader could come back the same way Kenobi did in Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi as a "force ghost", however, at the end of Jedi he becomes a good guy. Guess that won't sell tickets though. No, Disney will bring back Darth Wheeze in some ridiculous plot device that ruins the entire movie because if Vader was an important part of why the originals were successful he will be included no matter what the cost in the new trilogy as well. On the other hand, Daily Express could just be making all of this up. "Moles" are for Mission Impossible guys, stick to calling them "inside sources."
