10 Most Ridiculous Stunts In Fast And The Furious Movies

5. Plane Busting (Fast & Furious 6)

We’ve arrived at the latter half of this list, which comprise the most balls-out stunts ever committed to the big screen. And the plane sequence which serves as the climax of F&F6 totally belongs here.

Dom has taken care of big bad Shaw, but now finds himself in peril while aboard the speeding enemy cargo plane. With his team having sabotaged Shaw’s efforts to escape by destroying the aircraft’s engines, the plane is now starting to burn up with him inside.

As the plane slams back on to the ground, setting off explosions all over its fuselage, there’s still no sign of Dom, to the shock of the team. Suddenly, a car busts out from the plane’s nose - it’s Dom, who managed to escape just before the hellish flames engulf the entire vessel.

Somewhat hilariously, his muscle car even loses control, flipping it rather conveniently out of the path of the burning wreckage.

Of course, aeronautical engineers might take issue with the fact that the nose of an Antonov AN-124 would need to be made of some pretty strong stuff. So when our follicle-challenged hero tries to drive through it, he’d be left a crumpled up mess.

Let’s not also forget that given the speed of the plane and the cars, coupled with the fact that this sequence takes up 13 minutes, then we can only assume it took place on the world’ longest airplane runway. People have even crunched the numbers and estimated this straight road would have had to be over 18 miles long.

But if you’re looking for logic in a movie action scene this bombastic, you’ve come to the wrong place, friend.
